Statistics say it can take five to eight years to move beyond the loss of a loved one, but Dora Carpenter says that it doesn’t have to take that long. Your life counts and it matters. As a certified professional coach and trainer, Dora Carpenter inspires and empowers individuals for personal and professional success. She is known for challenging and motivating clients to take forward-moving action and work through life transitions, grief, and fear. Her gentle and empathetic, yet expressive approach is articulated in her coaching, training, writing, and speaking.

Working many years in the death care industry and assisting hundreds of families with making final arrangements for loved ones birthed her passion for coaching. Dora says, “too many hopes and dreams are buried in the cemetery” and she wants to encourage people to live out their potential in the now. Hence, her mantra is “Everything in life is temporary, including life itself. Decide to say Yes! to the gift of now.”

Dora Carpenter is the founder and program director of the From Grief to Gratitude Coach Certification Program. The program trains and certifies grief coaches and is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). She is a certified life coach, certified grief coach, certified consumer’s funeral consultant, and a basic law of attraction practitioner. She is also a former licensed Feel the Fear® trainer by Susan Jeffers, Ph.D. Dora Carpenter has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field by the National Association of Distinguished Professionals and featured in the Women of Distinction Magazine and appears regularly on various medio outlets.
